"Before you may legally wear and carry a regulated firearm, you must
possess and maintain on your person the MSP-issued Handgun Wear and
Carry Permit." - MSP.org.
To meet the requirements of the MSP application for
a wear and carry permit you must attend a 16 hour wear and carry
permit course as taught by a Maryland State Police Qualified Handgun
instructors at DDC are all MSP Qualified to teach this course.
The course is presented over 2 days (8hrs each day)
and will include classroom lectures, and practical exercises
followed by a 25 round qualification course of live fire. The
student will have met the training requirements of the MSP Wear and
Carry Permit application upon successful completion of this
